Hi, I am Matt Mitchley, and I created the Designer Garden Co because we truly felt that the gardens and landscaping options available in Cairns were not as diverse and inspiring as they could be.
We created Designer Garden Co in order to provide the people of Cairns with a landscaping company that really goes that extra mile for our customers, from concept design to the finished product. Since 2006, our quality of service and expertise have proven extremely successful, with most of our work being word of mouth. We have established ourselves as one of the leading landscaping companies in the Cairns region. Our team aims to excel in every job and is always looking for new and exciting concepts and products to provide our customers.

Founded in May 2006, Designer Garden Co has been actively involved in Cairns’ residential and commercial landscaping projects.

After spending many years in the design and landscape industry in several cities around the world, I finally planted ourselves in Cairns.

The depth and breadth of our team’s horticultural knowledge and experiences is equivalent to over 50 years across 4 continents; horticulture is our passion.
We have an ever-growing list of satisfied residential and commercial clients across the entire Far North Queensland. I am a fully registered horticulturist (RH 0026) with the Australian Institute of Horticulture.
